1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the Photo Recover Go Android application (the "App") provided by Barmotech ("we", "us", or "our"). By using the App, you acknowledge the practices described below.
2. Information processed on your device
The App may access and process the following information locally when you request a recovery or storage feature:
- Photos, videos, documents, archives, and other files selected or scanned for recovery.
- File metadata, including file name, path, type, size, modification date, thumbnails, and scan or recovery status.
- Storage capacity, battery status, CPU details, and other device-status information used by available utility features.
- Files you choose to restore or export to a destination on your device.
Recovery scans and previews are primarily processed on the device. We do not sell the contents of your personal files or upload recovered media for advertising purposes.
3. Information collected or transmitted
The App contains advertising, analytics, push-notification, and fraud-prevention components. Depending on your device settings, consent choices, region, and the provider involved, these components may collect or transmit:
| Data category | Examples | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Device or other identifiers | Advertising ID, Android identifiers, app-set or vendor identifiers, IP address | Advertising, attribution, analytics, security, and fraud prevention |
| App activity | App interactions, ad views and clicks, and limited apps-on-device signals collected by an SDK | Ad delivery, frequency control, analytics, security, and fraud prevention |
| Device and diagnostics | Device model, operating-system version, language, crash data, performance and network information | Compatibility, reliability, analytics, and security |
| Approximate location | Country or region inferred from IP address | Regional content, advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention |
Advertising providers may use these data for personalized or non-personalized advertising according to your consent choices and device controls.
4. Third-party service providers
The App may use SDKs or services supplied by Google Mobile Ads (AdMob), AppLovin, Pangle, Meta Audience Network, Unity Ads, Mintegral, Liftoff/Vungle, Moloco, and DCloud services such as UniPush. These providers process data under their own privacy policies and act as independent controllers or service providers where applicable.
You can review key provider policies at Google, AppLovin, Pangle, and the other providers' official privacy pages.
5. Android permissions
Photo Recover Go requests permissions only when needed for available features. Depending on your Android version, these may include storage or media access, camera access, notifications, network state, wake lock, and system settings required for selected operations. You may deny or revoke permissions in Android Settings, although the related feature may then be unavailable.
6. Sharing
We may share the categories described in Section 3 with advertising and service providers for ad delivery, measurement, analytics, push notifications, security, and fraud prevention. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or our rights, or as part of a business transfer. We do not sell your recovered files or personal media.
7. Retention
Locally stored App data remains until you delete it, clear the App's storage, or uninstall the App. Third-party providers retain transmitted data according to their own policies, legal requirements, and configured retention periods.
8. Your choices and rights
- Manage App permissions in Android Settings.
- Reset or delete your Advertising ID and control ad personalization in your Google settings.

9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No network transmission or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children's privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required in the user's jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information through the App.
11. International processing
Advertising and service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, providers use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
